Why We Should Share the Gospel

Acts 1:6-11

Jesus' final words to His disciples before ascending to heaven were a commission to be His witnesses from Jerusalem to the ends of the earth. Rather than establishing an earthly kingdom as the disciples expected, Jesus redirected their focus to spreading the Gospel through the power of the Holy Spirit. Being a witness isn't just about bearing testimony - it's about embodying Christ in both word and action. We share the Gospel for three simple reasons: because Jesus commands us to, because He tells us where (everywhere), and because the Holy Spirit empowers us to do so. Instead of seeking new directions from God, we should obey His final, conclusive word to be His witnesses in our daily lives.
