Pay Attention (2/15/26)

Hebrews 2:1-4

In our distraction-filled world, maintaining spiritual focus is crucial for believers. The writer of Hebrews warns that failing to pay attention to God's Word leads to spiritual drifting, just like an unanchored boat. This drift happens through carelessness, sin, and hardship, causing believers to gradually move away from their spiritual moorings. To avoid this danger, Christians must prioritize church attendance, Bible study groups, and daily Scripture reading. The consequences of neglecting our salvation are serious, as God disciplines those who become apathetic toward the message delivered by His Son. Since Jesus is superior to angels and His message was confirmed by eyewitnesses and miracles, neglecting this great salvation puts believers at risk of divine judgment.
