Hebrews 2:5-18

The incarnation of Jesus Christ reveals God's incredible plan to rescue humanity. Jesus became fully human while remaining fully God to accomplish four essential purposes: sanctifying believers by making them holy and part of God's family, defeating Satan who held power over humanity through death, freeing people from the slavery of fearing death, and serving as our perfect High Priest who understands our struggles. Through His death and resurrection, Jesus conquered sin and death, offering believers freedom from condemnation and eternal life. As our merciful, faithful, atoning, and helpful High Priest, Jesus intercedes for us and provides the help we need in times of temptation and trial.
