Psalm 130

When our wrong choices lead to overwhelming consequences, it’s easy to feel trapped and hopeless. Psalm 130 reveals that even when sin creates trouble in our lives, all is not lost. The psalmist cries out from the depths of distress, yet maintains confidence in God’s character. Our God is a hearing God who listens to our desperate prayers, a forgiving God who clears the scoreboard when we confess, a loving God whose faithful kindness never fails, and a redeeming God who specializes in rescue and restoration. No matter how many wrong turns you’ve made, God keeps recalculating your route back to Him.
