Cory Edwards
Cory Edwards grew up in Denton County and pursued his education at Howard Payne University in Brownwood, Texas, where he earned both a Bachelor’s degree and a Master of Arts in Theology and Ministry. He joined the staff at Lakeland in July 2025.
His ministry background includes youth leadership roles at several churches, managing accounts at Guidestone, event coordination with the Institute for Creation Research, and promotional work with I AM SECOND. Cory is married to Jackie, and together they have two children—Elliot (7) and Everly (5).
