Seeing God In Suffering (9/14/25)
Job 42:1-6
Finding hope in suffering requires viewing our pain through God’s perspective. Job 42 teaches us three essential truths: God rules in times of suffering, maintaining His sovereignty even when evil occurs; God understands what we cannot comprehend about our pain; and God refines us through suffering, deepening our relationship with Him. While suffering exists because of sin entering the world, Jesus Christ offers us ultimate hope by His own suffering on the cross. Through Him, we can find forgiveness, God’s presence in our pain, and the promise of eternal life free from suffering.
