Let’s All Celebrate! (7/6/25)
Nehemiah 12:27-47
When the Israelites completed Jerusalem’s wall in just 52 days, they celebrated God’s work with intentional worship. Their example teaches us to celebrate God’s goodness with gladness that visibly overflows, vocal thanksgiving, participatory singing, holy preparation, and sacrificial giving. As Christians today, we should recognize God’s works—answered prayers, saved souls, healed bodies—and respond with genuine celebration. Our worship should reflect inner joy, express gratitude, engage in music, maintain holiness through confession, and demonstrate generosity through various sacrifices of our lives and resources.
