The Compounding Effects of Sin (5/25/25)
Judges 16:4-30
Sin begins with small compromises that lead to devastating consequences, as illustrated by Samson’s life in the book of Judges. His downward spiral started with seemingly minor choices – going to Philistine territory, desiring a foreign woman, ignoring godly counsel, and insisting on his own way. This progression took him further than he intended, kept him longer through entanglement, and ultimately cost him his eyes, freedom, dignity, and life. Yet there is hope through Jesus Christ, who offers freedom from sin’s bondage through repentance and forgiveness.
